Our people

It makes us who we are

As a debt charity we’re never judgemental and we understand that addressing financial problems can be a daunting process. That’s why we’re committed to showing those in debt how to take control of their finances, whatever the circumstances.

We're here to help you

Our advisors don’t take sides – it’s their job to act as even-handedly as possible, representing the interests of fairness between clients and their creditors. They’ll display the sensitivity and support that are essential to the way we deal with those in financial difficulty.

Our clients are from all walks of life and have got into difficulties for all sorts of reasons such as health or relationship problems changes in employment or simply credit over commitments. Every year we help hundreds of thousands of people with telephone or online debt advice, and many more are helped by the information on our website. We also provide support to over 100,000 people who are repaying their debts through one of our debt management plans.
